Paramata Lodge Luxury West Coast Accommodation in Ross

Check out our latest images!

Our new Paramata Lodge website went live in September with new photos showcasing exactly what the lodge and surrounding environment is like now. Those of you who have been here before will be as surprised as we were at how fast the tree propagating, planting and landscaping has beautified the lodge experience. After 11 years it’s now more mature, more restful and even more enjoyable.

We’re also lucky to be friends with Neil Silverwood and his partner Lauren who carried out the recent photo shoots. Neil is an adventure photographer, cinematographer, well known caver and outdoor guide, he was a student of mine at Tai Poutini Polytechnic when he first left school, a long while ago!

Neil last year won two awards, the 2018 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards, Judith Binney Best First Book Award for Illustrated Non-fiction and also the New Zealand Mountain Film and Book Festival 2018 Grand Prize with co-author Marcus Thomas; Caves, exploring New Zealand’s subterranean wilderness, Whio Publishing. It’s well worth the pleasure to own.

For Neil’s work on our place check out the gallery on our website www.paramatalodge.co.nz/gallery and watch for changes as we get some of his videos online in the weeks ahead. See www.neilsilverwood.com

Along with the photos, our website design has come from Anna Hayes from Innovate Digital in Christchurch and we’re very pleased with what she has achieved. She was easy to work with, made the process very straightforward and she was patient and honest, sharing her knowledge when my age related ignorance needed advice. I would recommend her highly if you need help with designing a website; innovatedigital.nz

And if you haven’t been back to stay with us for a while, get on our booking calendar (Book Now) and see what the options are, we’d love to see you again!
